Our residential leisure park in Tamniès welcomes you to 9 hectares of greenery and pine forest. We'll be delighted to accompany you on your quest for the picturesque corners and treasures of the Périgord Noir... As a family, with friends or in a group, you'll stay in one of our 30 chalets set in at least 250 m² of private wooded space. Far from any noise, you'll be able to enjoy nature to the full. During your stay at the Domaine des Grands Pins, you'll be able to indulge in a wide range of activities: 3 swimming pools, multi-sports ground, pétanque, mini golf, children's playground, children's and adult entertainment, themed evenings, hiking and biking trips departing from the estate, visits to farms with force-feeding... From idleness to sports and gastronomy, there's something for everyone... and at their own pace!!! Every day, we offer family entertainment for all ages. Activities in the park during the summer (04/07 to 29/8) : - Children's playground, trampolines, multi-sports field, pétanque, table tennis, 3-pool swimming pool, mini golf. Free loan of equipment. - Competitions for adults and children. Our orienteering races and Olympiads allow you to discover the whole estate and test your adventurous side. - The "Cro-mignon" Club welcomes your children (aged 5 to 11 - paying option). - Themed culinary evenings, - Evening entertainment and dancing, Activities outside the park : - Hiking (on your own or with us) and cycling from the site, - Caving (beginners or advanced). Supervised by a qualified instructor. Entertainment available for a fee. - Equestrian sports nearby. - Sarlat, capital of Périgord-Noir, boasts one of the world's largest medieval urban ensembles. You'll love wandering through the countless picturesque alleyways and sampling the local gastronomy.
- Montignac, where you can visit the Lascaux caves and the banks of the Vézère river.
- The region's caves and chasms: from the Grand Roc at Les Eyzies-de-Tayac (world capital of prehistory) to the grouffre at Proumeyssac, via La-Roque-Gageac, you'll discover the underground life of Périgord-Noir.
- The Dordogne is also famous for its castles. There are no fewer than a thousand throughout the region. They have stood the test of time, and are open to tourists all year round, allowing them to discover their splendor and history.
