Although it is named after the prehistoric building from the Talayotic period discovered nearby, this family-friendly and, above all, bike-friendly villa (with various services offered by the landlord) in the middle of nature does not date back to antiquity. Nevertheless, it's worth unearthing all the assets on the extensive grounds of Puig de ses Toltes, especially as some of the most beautiful parts of the building are hidden under lush vegetation. You could try to get your dog and his talented nose to help you uncover them all! Some of these assets are: the fantastic views of the Serra de Calicant, which you can reach by bike towards Petra and Ariany; the separate sun deck with summer lounge by the child-safe pool; the barbecue under the canopy with the atmosphere of an Italian piazza; the relaxation area with hammocks under trees and the small furnished terraces next to the building. You are sure to find even more enchanting details in the pictures! It is quite possible that you will end up spending your entire holiday in the villa.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
The rooms at Puig de Ses Toltes are a perfect place to relax, especially the master suite on the ground floor with a modern bathroom including an integrated shower. Warning: the TV corner could tempt you to become a couch potato. Three other cosily furnished guest rooms on the ground floor and an open-plan room on the upper floor (with exclusive access to the sun deck) share the other two bathrooms. Admittedly, this is not a lot, but with a little planning it is certainly possible. If the three extra beds are added, it could end up being a little too cosy. While some are in the shower, others can head to the kitchen bar for their first espresso of the day and then head outside in search of the perfect breakfast spot. The kitchen consists of two parts and has been skilfully integrated into the living room. It is large enough for several people to prepare delicious eggs and bacon to give you enough energy for your bike tour. The fireplace is the perfect place late at night to plan the next day at the beach or your next day trip, or to discuss the various possible routes. Alternatively, you can oil up your muscles with strong liquids. The spaciousness and facilities of this villa can be used in a variety of ways - please contact us if you are travelling with more than 8 people.
There are many hidden beauties to discover in this Mediterranean landscape. The small town of Sant Llorenç has been nicknamed Cardassar (in the thistles) since a statue of the Madonna was found in the bushes. There are some nice shops and restaurants in this small and tidy town, so you don't have to travel far if you're looking for them. In addition, the south-eastern coast between Cap d'es Pinar in the north and Punta de sa Roca in the north is full of hustle and bustle, maritime flair and beautiful beaches such as Sa Marjal or Sa Coma in the south.
With the Serra de Calicant behind it and only 12 kilometres from the popular beaches in the east of the island, Villa Puig de ses Toltes promises to be a retreat or the beginning of absolute tranquillity and closeness to nature. The pretty town of San Lorenzo offers lovely shops and restaurants. With city life on the left (Manacor) and mountain village charm on the right (Artà), signposted cycle paths on the doorstep as well as harbour flair and promenades, you can discover the island by car, on foot or by bike.
