A particularly picturesque ambience welcomes guests to this unique mill villa near Consell. During the restoration work carried out in 2005, great importance was attached to retaining the original atmosphere while adding modern comforts. The result is an all-round attractive home where up to five people can spend a relaxing holiday. The property is in a secluded but not rurally isolated location in a breezy neighbourhood with other houses and offers an ideal combination of privacy and infrastructure. A fantastic garden invites you to spend your days outdoors on the lush green lawns and beautifully landscaped terraces. Tall palm trees emphasise the Mediterranean ambience and provide visual appeal around the property. Right outside the front door is a fantastically curved pool decorated with eye-catching mosaic tiles. With a depth of 0.3 m to 1.8 m, you have the choice of simply leaning back in the shallow water or really swimming in the deep water. On a balmy evening, simply lean back in the whirlpool, look up at the stars and savour the moment. The family-friendly character of Villa Moli d'en Mig is emphasised by a large children's playground in the middle of the garden. There's no room for boredom here and younger guests can play to their heart's content. A gravelled terrace stretches out in front of the house, where an awning provides breezy shade. You can enjoy your meals at the dining table with a view of the greenery. This is also the best place to keep an eye on the pool and the children splashing around in the water. There are many more tempting corners to linger in, just waiting to be discovered. The brick-built barbecue is ready and waiting for you to prepare the food you bought fresh from the market and your taste buds are waiting to be tantalised! The property has parking for several cars. The welcoming owners of this villa live next door, on the side facing the pool. They always take care to maintain the privacy of their guests.
The interior of the house is no less fascinating than its immediate surroundings and also makes days inside a real pleasure. Light-coloured walls and fabrics, combined with large floor tiles, exposed beams (some of them original) and striking arches and corners with sandstone trimmings set the tone of this interior. The rustic, yet elegant and new interior design provides additional cosiness. Cosy and comfortable is how our experienced photographer described the atmosphere. At the heart of this single-storey building is the large kitchen with a piece of tree trunk that serves as a very original rustic dining table. The typical Mallorcan brick design not only gives it an aesthetic look, but also offers plenty of storage space. With a gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee machine, you are well equipped for an independent self-catering holiday. A separate laundry room completes the range of useful household appliances and also houses a second (covered) barbecue area. The spacious, pleasantly bright living room invites you to relax, with the huge round arch being a real highlight. You can enjoy a TV film on the comfortable corner sofa or simply immerse yourself in a good book. Two cosy bedrooms invite you to fall asleep; one room is furnished with three single beds, the other with a double bed and several visual reminders of this building's former life as a mill. Sleeping here will be a truly blissful experience - let the photos inspire you!
A modern bathroom with bathtub offers enough space for everyone, a hairdryer is also available. We recommend a maximum occupancy of 4 adults and one child.
The town of Consell, with a population of around 3,000, is located on a country road between Palma de Mallorca and Inca. The main sources of income are crafts and viticulture. Mallorca's largest almond-growing co-operative is also based here. Be sure to visit the largest flea market on the island, Consell. Here you will find food, traditional handicrafts and almost everything else you can imagine. And with a bit of luck, you might even find one or two pretty unique items to take home as gifts for friends or family. The villa is located directly on a small road with little traffic and thus offers a quiet location and yet all the advantages of good transport connections, so that you can quickly reach numerous destinations for a day trip in different directions, for example Inca (11 km) or Palma (26 km). The charming Villa Moli den Mig is located just a few minutes' walk from the village of Costell in the north of the island. It is surrounded by a marvellous Mediterranean garden with tall palm trees.
