While some are keen to experience life in a centuries-old classical villa, others appreciate the benefits of a modern building, especially when that building is a stylish villa like Blaveta, which is a hit simply because of its location. Situated just 100 metres from the sea as the crow flies, it is a true jewel, its gleaming white face actually seeming to rival the azure blue of the Mediterranean sky. The angular building is surrounded by 320 well-tended square metres, perfect for chilling out in the open air. A pretty glass-topped table and chairs in an abstract design invite you to enjoy stylish al fresco meals with a view of the sea - no extras required. An awning provides shade when needed. Next to it, the large armchairs invite you to settle down with a cool drink or round off the day in a cosy atmosphere. Even though the beach is almost directly in front of the house and would be close enough for a swim, there is another attractive alternative: the 5-metre-long pool on site is also ideal for a refreshing dip. And there is no better place to relax than the stylish sun lounger with parasol.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
Or is there? Just a few steps away, the chic interior furniture is waiting for you to relax. Its minimalist design and the aesthetically measured use of colour give the interior of the house a particularly aesthetic ambience. The living room with its glass doors leading onto the terrace has an almost loft-like feel and leaves plenty of room to breathe. Make yourself comfortable on the exclusive sofa, enjoy a film on the flat-screen TV, which is free-standing but still unobtrusive, and enjoy the light coming in through the glass staircase on the right-hand side. Right next to it is the dining table; with its original wooden table top and sumptuous natural fibre ball lights, it is every bit the equal of an outdoor dining area, with the added benefit that the integrated, state-of-the-art kitchen with all the modern necessities is not far away. Want to work during your stay? Then head upstairs to the purpose-built office, which offers you a perfectly quiet place to get your work done. The real resting places are of course the three double rooms, all tastefully decorated and one even with an open-plan bathroom. Four bathrooms ensure that no one has to wait their turn, and if you fancy a workout in the gym on the ground floor, there is even a separate guest WC right next door.
Son Serra de Marina is a quiet little village with only around 1,000 inhabitants. It consists mainly of detached houses, a small grocery shop, a bakery, a pharmacy, several good restaurants and plenty of peace and quiet. If you follow the main road from the entrance to the village to the sea, you will find a small marina on the left. This is where the sandy beaches begin; initially littered with stones, they become more even and extend almost to the other end of the town. Here's an insider tip for Son Serra de Marina: visit the beach bar El Sol - it almost feels like you're really in the Caribbean! If you are interested in cultural and historical sites, you should definitely visit the necropolis of Son Real.
The modern and stylish Villa Blaveta is located directly by the sea on a private 320 m² plot in the small coastal village of Son Serra de Marina. Here, the most beautiful beaches of the Bay of Alcúdia are right on your doorstep; the almost two-kilometre-long sandy area in the direction of Colònia de Sant Pere offers enough space for everyone. There are several inviting and reasonably priced restaurants in the neighbourhood.
