When you look at the pictures of Villa Mitjana, you can't get enough: Vast countryside, palm trees and cypresses against a year-round green backdrop, the Mediterranean Sea in the distance and in the middle of it all is the beautiful traditional quarry stone house with white mouldings, wooden windows, green shutters and the clay roof tiles typical of the region. Mitjana is one of those beautiful, classic pieces of Mallorca that we all love so much, and it's close to the beach. The proportions of the property are perfectly realised and right next to the magnificent main building, with its covered terrace and ample space for an outdoor dining area, is an almost 80 m² pool. The very practical outdoor bathroom is integrated into the brick structure of the adjacent outdoor kitchen, which has two built-in BBQ grills and a wood-fired oven. There is a lovely rustic atmosphere where you can relax with friends and family and enjoy a delicious BBQ at the end of the day. You can buy fresh, crunchy produce at the market in Felanitx or Santanyí. If you have nothing else to do, you can jump into the swimming pool or test your skills at the table tennis table. All in all, the extensive maritime-style garden offers plenty of opportunities for children to let off steam and have fun. It's as easy as letting them loose. The layout of the house makes it ideal for two families travelling together. A total of 350 m² of living space is spread over two floors and is elegantly designed and decorated, which goes well with the traditional façade of the house. On the ground floor, on the other side of the terrace, is the exquisite living and dining area with a comfortable sofa set, cosy fireplace, TV, library and piano. The classic charm of the house with stucco surfaces, high-quality contemporary furniture, carpets and chandeliers is complemented by integrated spotlighting and particularly gleaming polished floors. The large, versatile country-style kitchen with warm wooden cabinets is very modernly equipped, including a dishwasher and an American fridge with ice machine for chilled drinks, but also has an old-fashioned wood-burning stove. It also has an additional dining area in front of an old fireplace. There is also a WC on this floor, which is available to all guests. It is very nice that all the bedrooms are on the upper floor. These include two huge bedrooms, which share a separate living area and an adjoining bathroom. Three further bathrooms, each with two single beds, share a bathroom with a bathtub, ideal for bringing all the children together or for friends or grandparents travelling with you. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and can of course be heated. You have probably already seen the pictures of the bathroom behind the master bedroom, where you will find a whirlpool and a shower with massage jets. Truly heavenly experiences await you here and of course there is much more to explore and discover outside the villa. Along the south-east coast in particular, you can discover the diversity of the most beautiful Balearic Islands. In addition to quaint little towns with light tourism, lively promenades with good restaurants and a few bars, there are also numerous beaches that are perfect for a holiday by the water. These include the namesake of the villa, Cala Mitjana, but also Cala Sa Nau, Cala Petita, Cala Serena, Cala Ferrera and many more. These places all have impressive fjord-like bays with clear water. The nearby motorway, which leads either inland or to attractive destinations along the coast, is partially audible from the property, but only when the wind is just right. The proximity of this motorway means that you can enjoy a rural location that still offers convenient access to a variety of holiday activities, which may even include a visit to the nearby Vall d'Or golf course. How you relax and organise your time away from the stresses of everyday life is up to you, but at Fincallorca we do our best to provide you with the perfect place to do so, and in our eyes, Villa Mitjana fits the bill. The exquisite natural stone villa Mitjana with its large landscaped garden, pool area and rustic outdoor kitchen is located just a few minutes' walk from the bay of the same name near Cala D'Or. In this charming little town with its simple white architecture, you can do your shopping or take a stroll along the promenade. For the island's famous markets, you can head to Santantyí or further inland to Felanitx. Enjoy a varied selection of wide, fjord-like bathing bays that are easily accessible in your hire car.
