This property rises up from the landscape of the Llevant region in a truly picturesque way. Windmills have a long tradition on Mallorca. In the past they had an important function in agriculture, today they are the island's landmark.
One such picturesque, stone-built mill is quite literally the centrepiece of this villa. The other elements of the property are arranged around this mill. Inside there is a staircase that leads up through a fabulously beautiful wrought iron portal to the two bedrooms in the tower. They are single rooms and as they are one above the other (one on the first floor, the other on the second floor), the room on the first floor is a connecting room to the room on the second floor. These two bedrooms, which are located in the tower, are intended as children's rooms due to their small size. This is also supported by the fact that the staircase leading upstairs is very narrow.
Two further bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the villa. Without a lot of frills, these rooms impress with their clarity and lots of white, combined with contrasting colour accents. One of these rooms has its own bathroom. The two daylight bathrooms are spacious and contemporary with attractive wall and floor tiles and aesthetically pleasing fittings. The natural stone wall in one of them is a real eye-catcher. A fully equipped kitchen including a kettle, dishwasher, coffee filter machine and much more is also bright and generously proportioned. Chic white fronts in combination with some dark appliances and a stone worktop create an elegant and stylish overall impression. In the spacious living/dining area, which is located around the mill entrance, there is a majestic dining table that comfortably seats 18 people. There are several other places in the room that offer comfortable seating for relaxing. The television is also conveniently installed here. The old stove in the alcove is a real eye-catcher. Four chandeliers and indirect lighting on the mill wall create a cosy and unusual atmosphere on this large floor, which actually has the base of a windmill at its centre.
Step outside onto the tasteful yet spacious terrace, which is adorned with magnificent Mediterranean plants. You can enjoy the heavenly view of the garden landscape and beyond on chic polyrattan seating furniture. You now have a view of the pond, the pool with whirlpool, the dreamy bridge, the imposing palm garden, the natural stone areas, the long, extensive pretty hedge and much more. You will want to spend hours here, letting your gaze wander and letting your mind wander. Behind the stately estate vegetation, the view extends far into the green, rather flat surrounding countryside. In keeping with the mill theme, there are eight comfortable sun loungers and a parasol on the round sun terrace next to the round pool and whirlpool. There is also another idyllic seating area under the two tall palm trees at the end of the bridge. There are many attractive places in this small park where you can enjoy your time against a magnificent backdrop. An evening in the open air, perhaps with a culinary barbecue, is also a pleasure here.
If you want to treat yourself to something truly exceptional on holiday, we warmly recommend Villa Son Siurana Es Moli. The room and bed layout allows for a maximum occupancy of four adults and three children.
The nearby village of Petra with its golden-brown quarry stone houses is reminiscent of a dreamy town far away from the hustle and bustle. You should definitely experience the weekly market, the small bars, cafés and restaurants in this town, which has developed a good infrastructure despite its tranquillity. Villa Son Siurana Es Moli is one of the absolute highlight properties in our programme. This playful and exquisite mill property is located in the east of the island, around seven kilometres north of the small town of Petra. You can do your daily shopping here. The beautiful natural sandy beach of Son Serra de Marina is just a 20-minute drive from the villa.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
