Villa Casa Otonyo has many advantages, one of which is its complete privacy. Shielded from outside eyes, you can enjoy the impressive 10,000 square metres of your lush property to the full, which offers a typical Mediterranean flora as well as a magnificent view of the hilly surroundings. Watched over by a docile Buddha statue, you can splash around in the impressive 8 x 4 metre pool with salamander decoration and enjoy the feeling of space and tranquillity that the casual design exudes. On many days in Mallorca, there is not a cloud in the sky - perfect conditions for firing up the gas barbecue during the day and preparing the delicacies bought at an idyllic market. The covered terrace with rattan chairs and a solid wooden table invites you to linger. The wooden terrace with thatched roof has more of a lounge atmosphere. Thanks to the many cosy cushions, the bench is ideal for relaxing evenings and cocktails. There are plenty of sun loungers available on the natural lawn so that you can relax and enjoy the sun at any time during the day.
The sun is also omnipresent inside the house thanks to the large windows. In combination with the light-coloured wooden roof beams and the many natural elements of the furnishings, a cosy atmosphere is created. When the fire crackles behind the protective glass in the evening and you look out from the comfortable sofa at the decoratively stacked pieces of wood, the flowing transition between the living and dining area and the very modern kitchen is wonderfully emphasised by the warm colour tones. Thanks to the satellite technology, you can watch your TV channels from home. Or take the opportunity to get a good night's sleep in your all-round restful beds. Two bedrooms are available for this purpose. An additional room, a retreat with a desk, can be used as a playroom. The other two bedrooms each have double beds. One of them offers additional privacy in the form of its own bathroom. The small house has a total of three bathrooms, so you don't have to queue for the shower in the morning. Tastefully simple pictures on the walls create a maritime flair.
After all, the sea is only 15 kilometres away. Thanks to the close proximity to the road network, which can sometimes lead to audible traffic noise, you can reach your destination in a flash in your hire car. But you should also spend some time in the surrounding villages. The agricultural area is dotted with a colourful mixture of extensive fields, forests, windmills and almond trees. Between January and February, you can enjoy a sea of pink and white colours when the almond trees are in bloom. At the Casa Museu de Fraator Serra in Petra, 7 kilometres away, you can get an idea of what life was like on Mallorca in the 18th century. The diverse bays of the east coast can be reached in around half an hour by car. In the harbour of Porto Cristo, you can enjoy fresh fish in a restaurant before exploring the natural works of art in the Coves del Drac stalactite caves. Located 3.5 km west of the village of Ariany, Villa Casa Otonyo, nestled in the Mediterranean hills, promises a relaxing holiday: a variety of hiking and cycling trails criss-cross the surrounding area. And you can run your errands in Ariany or Sineu, 7 km away, before travelling the 15 km to reach the sea on the east coast. Cala Millor, half an hour's drive away, also offers a wide range of leisure activities.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
