Pack your swimming trunks and bikini and we're off to Sa Ràpita to enjoy the sea and sand. When you think of Son Sea, no matter what the name actually means, you inevitably think of beautiful blue water. This is a great place to set up base camp to explore the south of Mallorca, hike, cycle, dive and let off steam on the paradisiacal beaches. The nearby Ma-6014 can be heard from the villa and provides a quick connection to the coast. The villa has the simplicity and charm of a weekend house; single-storey, well embedded in the landscape and protected not only by the fence around the pool, over which only the mountains can be seen, but also by green hedges and two stately olive trees. Even the barbecue area is surrounded by small hedges, and the chimney occasionally sends smoke signals into the blue sky to call everyone to the table. During a relaxing break under the shady roof of the terrace next to the house or by the pool, you can plan your next adventure or simply start the day comfortably and enjoy your own green and pleasant realm. There is also plenty of space for children to play.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
When there are so many beautiful destinations that it's a shame to stay in one place, you don't need a 4-star hotel. It can be much simpler; the important thing is that you have everything you need and that you feel at home. And at Son Sea, it's easy to feel at home. The interior design is bright, friendly and rustic, both in the living/dining area (with TV) and in the separate fitted kitchen. The three bedrooms with their solid wood beds (one double bed) and mahogany-coloured wardrobes have air conditioning; the two bathrooms have a shower, bathtub and window for ventilation - enough comfort for a successful holiday without unnecessary luxury. However, Son Sea has a little luxury in store for you: As the nearby villa hotel Es Torrent, just 1 km away, belongs to the same landlady, you are welcome to enjoy the sumptuous breakfast on the sun terrace there (please book in advance). Bicycles are also available on request to give you a little exercise in the morning before you reward yourself at the groaning breakfast table ... And thanks to the alarm system installed in the villa, you can feel completely safe at all times.
Another little luxury is the quiet fishing village of Ràpita: located in the middle of a nature reserve, it is a slice of authentic Mallorca with its long sandy beach, restaurant and beach bar. The wind conditions in this open bay make it particularly popular with surfers and the gently sloping coastline makes it ideal for children. Boat trips and water sports are offered by Club Nautico Sa Ràpita and other providers. And finally, our top tips: Casa Manolo/Bodega Barahona in Ses Salines is famous for its excellent tapas and delicious fish and Villa Sa Barrala will make your dreams come true as you set off on horseback to discover salt pans, wild flamingos, enchanted forests and Es Trenc.
Only a few minutes by car separate you from some of Mallorca's most beautiful beaches such as Es Trenc, Cala Pí and Platja de Sa Ràpita or the natural paradise of Parque Natural de Mondragó. Son Sea is conveniently located just 8 kilometres from the small town of Campos with its specialist shops, on the way to the coast, hidden between fields. The still largely undiscovered southern tip of the island offers the Mediterranean in all its diversity: villages such as Santanyi, Ses Salines and Colònia de Sant Jordi, boat and bike excursions and dramatic coastal hiking trails.
