This village house was built in 1868. It originally served as a toll house on the road between Weert and Eindhoven. The most recent residents have transformed the surrounding grounds into a park-like garden with, among other things, over 200 Dutch magnolia species and beautiful ceramic art objects.
Despite its age, the house itself is fully equipped. The renovation was carried out with great attention to the character of the house and the many old details. Dogs are very welcome and free of charge. A hot tub can also be rented. Let the owner know and the hot tub will be ready for you before your arrival.
Village house Het Tolhuis is located in the hamlet of Zevenhuizen on a main road from the small Brabant village of Leende. With the Leenderbos on one side and the Strabrechtse Heide on the other, there is plenty of choice of cycling and walking routes.
Unique is restaurant Sabero on the other side of the road. This small-scale living room restaurant is run by star chef Nico Boreas and his wife Sonja. They were previously the owners of Boreas** (now Tribeca) in Heeze and Sabero** in Roermond.
Spending your holiday in Dorpswoning Het Tolhuis means staying in a unique environment, in a beautiful part of friendly Brabant.
