This rural area is characterised by several beautiful estates such as the Wellenseind, which in turn borders the Utrecht estate, and several nature reserves such as the Wellendseinde Heide and Mispeleindse Heide. It is a varied landscape with fens, heathland, brook valleys and forests. Along the way, you can relax at one of many cosy Burgundian pubs such as In den Bockenreyder, where a fresh soup, local beer or sausage roll are always waiting for you.
Adventurers should definitely bring their mountain bikes (or rent them) as there are challenging routes near this holiday home.
