With your bicycle you can visit in few minutes the Fortezza (fortress) which was built by the Venetians, the Archaeological museum at the entrance to the fortress, the Venetian Loggia which is dating back to the 16th century, the folkloreand history museum, the main minaret (Neratze mosque), the Rimondi fountain and also to buy fresh products from ''Laiki" (the local market).

In the old town of Rethymno you will find everything from traditional bakeries, cafes, taverns and also a variety of shops in the street of Arkadiou, Souliou and Ethnikis Antistasis.

In the private grounds there are two buildings dating from 1870. The villas have their own unique atmosphere and have played a leading role in the history and culture of the village.

Those who rent the Villas have a perfect solution to a shared family holiday. Each family has its own villa, so while sharing the outdoor facilities, if needed can spend time alone in their own accommodation. Archontiko tis Ioanna’s is rented as a complete complex and the villas are not rented separately.

Internally the house is equipped to a high standard and includes such a fully fitted kitchen and for your entertainment a home cinema system, internet and satellite TV (Including Greek Channels) and a selection of DVD’s and board games.

Externally there is a pleasant court yard filled with mature plants and trees. A perfect place to relax during the summer evenings. Also situated in the courtyard for your enjoyment is a swimming pool.
