If you head south, you will arrive in Pula, where there are many monuments from the past, such as the Roman amphitheatre. In the north, there are picturesque medieval towns such as Motovun, where an international film festival is held every year at the end of July. Travelling along the Istrian peninsula, you will come across many wine roads and local taverns offering local delicacies. It is certainly a good way to get to know the local traditions and customs. Visit the nearby Uka Nature Park, where you can enjoy the extraordinary nature adorned with many protected and rare animal and plant species.
