At the same time, within an hour's drive you can reach several Umbrian and Tuscan cities worth seeing, such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Arezzo, Cortona (all about 40-50 km) and Lake Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (50 km).
