Important events take place here at any time of the year: The Palio of Asti in September, the Siege of Canelli in June (34 km) and the Truffle Fair in Moncalvo (18 km) in October. Castiglione d'Asti (23 km) is also very famous thanks to its castle, built before the year 1000, and the 13th century castle of Burio is also worth a visit.
