Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is an area designated as a Regional Natural Park in the Region of Murcia. The apartments overlook the Nicklaus-designed golf course and are built in the colonial style of the Riquelme families, which gives the complex its name.

The surrounding area offers a variety of recreational activities. Sucina is reached by car in just a few and there are stores, banks and restaurants with national and international cuisine (Italian, Hindu).
The coastal town of Los Alcazares with sandy beaches, shallow sea and restaurants is about 20 minutes away. By car you can reach Balsicas train station with its high speed trains to Murcia, Cartagena, Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Albacete and Valencia in 15 minutes.
