Chalet Acajuma is located in one of the most chic and popular ski resorts in France, Val d'Isère. This magnificent Savoyard village has retained its authenticity and charm and is one of the most renowned ski areas in the world. The area is linked between Val d'Isère and Tignes, offering over 300 km of slopes, for all levels, and one of the best snow records in all of France. The chalet is located on the Route du Petit Alaska, a pretty and peaceful street just a few minutes walk from the main street of Val d'Isère, where you will find great shops, bars, boutiques and restaurants. The chalet is about a 10 minute walk from the Solaise and Bellevarde ski lifts, which provide quick access to the entire Val d'Isère-Tignes area.

Chalet Acajuma is an elegant and comfortable property, with a finish that combines chic and modern furniture with traditional Savoyard architecture. With five bedrooms spread over four floors and a space that can accommodate up to twelve people, this beautiful property would make the perfect home for a stay in the mountains, with your family or friends. The chalet has a feature that we particularly appreciate: underfloor heating throughout the property and can be controlled by individual thermostats for each room.
The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor, where you will find a ski room, where you can safely store your equipment and boots.
This area is also equipped with boot dryers, for added comfort, with warm and dry boots every morning before heading down the ski slopes. You will also find a garage, with room for one car, so if you go to the centre of the resort, you will have a place to protect your car from the cold and snowfall present in Val d'Isère, and there is an extra space in the outside driveway. This chalet will stand out from the others, with its ground floor offering more standing, thanks to its wellness area consisting of an indoor whirlpool bath and a sauna, ideal for relaxing after a long day on the ski slopes. There is also a separate WC on this floor, so that those using the wellness area only need to relax.
Most of the communal living areas are located on the second floor, where you will find a beautiful open-plan living/kitchen/dining room with a beautiful fireplace (wood provided), perfect for keeping you warm on cold winter nights. Its large bay windows and spacious terrace will allow you to enjoy the stunning views that Val d'Isère has to offer. The dining table is large enough to accommodate up to twelve people, to warmly enjoy a meal with friends or family. Prepare your meal in the fully equipped kitchen of the chalet: with oven, four burner hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee percolator.

The sofas in the living room are large and comfortable, it's the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine or hot chocolate by the fire, while reading a book or playing a board game with your loved ones, of which you will find a selection of games at your disposal in the chalet. If the group can't agree on the evening activities, Chalet Acajuma offers an extra lounge on the first floor with its television, so it's no problem if you want to relax and watch your favourite film or series on Netflix with free wifi connection in the chalet, while others chat and play games by the fireplace upstairs.

There are five pleasant rooms in the Acajuma chalet, each with its own television. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, each with a king size double bed (160cm x 200cm) and a private bathroom, one with shower, the other with bathtub. The other three bedrooms have twin beds (90cm x 200cm), one with balcony and the others with en-suite bathrooms, one with bath and the other with shower. These five rooms can accommodate up to ten people, but if you wish you can accommodate two more people in the two sofa beds which are located in the living room on the first floor. All the beds are of good quality, with 30 cm spring mattresses, as well as memory foam overlay mattresses offering the ultimate in comfort, although it will be harder to get up each morning.
