The resort's reputation is based on the quality of its ski facilities as well as the atmosphere offered during the après-ski. In the heart of the largest and most popular ski area in the world, the typical and trendy resort of Meribel offers activities adapted to all, such as ice climbing walls, dog sled rides and torchlight descents.

AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR STAY
Chalet Iona is unique. There is simply no other chalet in the Three Valleys that is as spacious, and offers such tranquility, and views. Completely renovated in the summer of 2017, the chalet is more beautiful than ever; bespoke cast iron Sheffield chandeliers, vintage Scandinavian furniture, a state of the art kitchen with Miele and Laconte appliances, a 20 foot long hand hewn solid oak table, and an ample collection of art. Two new solariums have been added, one with an outdoor Jacuzzi that seats 12. Nestled in its orchard, among apple, pear and cherry trees, surrounded by spruce and birch trees, the panorama visible from the three balconies covers the Bozel Valley, a dozen small hamlets and villages, and extends to the glaciers of Tignes, 35km away. Chalet Iona, in the hamlet of Le Villard, is only a 4 minute drive from the Olympe Express gondola up to Meribel, but is still a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life.

THE CHALET
The accommodation consists of a main chalet with 6 bedrooms, four of which have their own private shower rooms for 12 people (extra beds can be added for larger groups). You will have your meals on a hand carved solid oak table, 6 meters long and able to accommodate about twenty people. The table is set in an 80m² room that opens onto a breathtaking panorama from floor to ceiling; an east-facing balcony and a south-facing Juliette balcony to enjoy your breakfast; Vincent Sheppard leather armchairs to enjoy after-dinner drinks are set around a Zelia fireplace.

Located on the lower floor, the 50m² living room is equipped with a 60-inch satellite TV, a Marantz/ATC A-sound system and another wood burning fireplace that can accommodate two to three families. This room benefits from a wonderful natural light thanks to its large windows open on 3 sides. It is furnished with leather chesterfield sofas, art deco and vintage Danish pieces, rosewood, teak and marble. The room opens onto a 40 m² sun terrace facing east.

Each room has a flat screen TV and a private bathroom. The two master bedrooms have been designed in art deco style, with handmade Tiffany lamps. Beautiful bird's eye maple reproductions decorate the chalet in addition to Biedermaister style originals.

The chalet offers a beautiful semi-professional kitchen equipped with 2 large ovens, 6 hotplates, 3 fridges, 2 brand name food processors, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, toaster, kettle.
