Valle d'Itra is an area in Salento and the main features here are the trulli, the typical round stone houses in the shape of a cone, and extensive olive groves surrounded by dry stone walls. Cisternino, the most beautiful town in Valle d'Itra, has a beautiful Preserved, historic old town with narrow and winding streets and the typical whitewashed houses. Here you will find numerous shops, cafés and cozy trattorias that offer traditional Apulian cuisine.
