Activities nearby : La Palma is a real paradise for hikers. Numerous signposted hiking trails and the extensive range of guided tours through the untouched nature inspire real enthusiasm. The 400 meter long Nogales beach stretches along the coast below the district of El Granel. The fine black sand in front of the imposing cliffs is a great sight in itself. The beach can only be reached on foot - it is signposted from Puntallana. However, due to the strong current, swimming here is not without its dangers. Of course, a trip to the island's capital, Santa Cruz, should also be on your vacation itinerary. Magnificent palaces, the city fortress and a faithful replica of the Santa Maria, Columbus' flagship, which opened as a maritime museum, as well as restaurants, bars and cafés galore make for a varied daily program
