For the kids there is a great play area on the open mezzanine floor with books, board games, Nintendo, etc. There are many opportunities for walking and cycling around the small community and the first white sandy beach is less than 2 miles away. St Jean de Thomas, the neighboring town, is a paradise for anglers, shell collectors and mudflat fishermen. Other emblematic Norman products, such as cider, crème and camembert, are sold nearby in direct sales.

For history buffs, a trip to the Caen Memorial and the D-Day beaches of the Cotentin is a must on the Normandy side.
