Soulac-sur-Mer, one of the oldest seaside resorts of Aquitaine, lies on the northernmost tip of the Gironde department, between the ocean, forests, lakes and vineyards. The place is characterized by long sandy beaches and large pine forests - ideal for a sporty and active holiday, with many cycling and hiking trails.
Activities in the area: There are many water sports on Plage Sud (such as surfing, sailing or bodyboards). The town breathes the charm of the French colonial time with more than 500 houses from this time.
