The wild beauty of this area will leave you breathless and you will find lots of hiking trails around like the famous Ruta da Teixeira or the Ruta de dos bosques máxicos, trail which leads you through ancient forests. The small vilage of Doade provides you with some restaurants. For grocery shopping, it’s better to go to Montforte de Lemos. The house is just 300 metres from the tourist train Aba Sacra.
