The amazing Villa Monte with private pool is located in central Istria, but also close to the coastal town of Umag. It can accommodate up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. Situated on a hill, this restored old stone house offers a marvellous view of the surroundings and a unique experience.
The tasteful, modern interior with vintage elements is sure to catch your eye. The traditional elements in the villa, such as wooden beams and stone walls, give the villa its charm.
The property consists of 3 buildings with a total of 4 spacious bedrooms with lounge area and en-suite bathroom, a living area, 3 kitchens with dining area, a wellness area and an entertainment room.
On the ground floor of the first building is the so-called konoba, a traditional tavern with a dining area for 8 people, where you can enjoy meals with your loved ones. In the house there are also two bedrooms with double bed and private bathroom with shower, one on the first floor and the other on the second. The two rooms also have a lounge area where you can relax and read a good book.
On the ground floor of the second building you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, which is connected to the living area with fireplace, as well as a separate dining area. In this house there are two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
The third building is a real gem. On the ground floor you can relax in the wonderful wellness area, which has a sauna, jacuzzi and shower. You can have a cosy time there and simply make the most of the day. A fully equipped kitchen with access to the outdoor dining area and barbecue area is located on the ground floor. On the upper floor you will be surprised by the entertainment room with billiards and table football.
The outdoor area simply invites you to take a dip in the pool, relax in one of the sun loungers and enjoy the marvellous view. If you fancy an active holiday, there are 6 bicycles at your disposal. Choose a bike, put on a helmet and explore the area around the villa in the best possible way on two wheels with the wind in your hairVilla Monte is located in a small Istrian village next to the small town of Buje (approx. 7 km) and close to the coastal town of Umag (approx. 20 km) with beautiful pebble and rocky beaches. Buje and its surroundings are known for picturesque hills, vineyards, olive groves and agritourism. The so-called Parenana, the first Istrian railway from Trieste to Pore, passes Buje and has recently been turned into a cycle path.
The first beach from Villa Monte is called Kanegra (approx. 18 km). This is a beautiful long pebble beach suitable for children.
Umag is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Umag offers enjoyment next to the crystal clear Adriatic Sea and numerous sports facilities. Umag was once the host of the ATP tournament and even today numerous stars of world tennis visit Umag.
The famous Istralandia Aquapark amusement park is just a short drive away. Visit the small romantic town of Momjan (3 km) and its galleries and castles. During your stay in Istria, don't miss to taste and enjoy the local Istrian and Mediterranean specialities: Truffles, olive oil, Istrian ox bokarin, prosciutto and good Istrian wine or beer from the brewery in Buje.
