Nearby are Merlin's tomb, the Fountain of Youth and the Chêne des Hindrés on one side, the Château de Compère, the Chêne Guillotin and the Brocéliande forest house on the other, and the market town of Paimpont on the other.
In the centre of Paimpont, you'll find a grocery shop, a bakery, a delicatessen, a butcher's and a tobacconist. For a supermarket, go to Plélan Le Grand.

Nearby events :
- In Paimpont there are events all year round, the biggest being during the summer season, such as the circus festival in June, which attracts 7/8 thousand people.
