In addition to Pinarello beach, some of Europe's most beautiful beaches are just 15 km from the campsite. The best-known, Palombaggia beach, with its crystal-clear water and white sand, stretches for around 3km out to sea. It continues on to the Asciaghju beach, with its mythical pine tree from postcard photos. The bay of Santa Giulia opens up to the south, offering an exceptional turquoise lagoon. Finally, the Rondinara reveals a small shell-shaped gulf with two points that almost touch, as if to make a blue Pacific lagoon. Pure, crystal-clear water. Out of season, cows stroll along the beach. A truly special, enchanting place, marking the border with the Bonifacio region, the other pearl of southern Corsica. Less than an hour's drive away, its cliffs are well worth the trip.
On the mountain side, as you climb to the Col de Bavella to admire the needles of the same name, you'll pass through the Ospédale forest at around 850m altitude and discover that Corsica's mountains are as beautiful and fascinating as its coastline. On a clear day, this forest offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio and even Sardinia. It's an ideal place for hiking. Along the way, you can also stop off at the Purcaraccia natural pools. Keep your eyes peeled for this unmarked spot. It's just around a hairpin bend. Then let the sound of water and waterfalls guide you along the wild paths. The Bavella massif and its famous granite needles offer an exceptional panorama. The unique atmosphere of this area allows you to observe the pine trees tilted by the wind and the great granite walls reaching for the sky.Chalet type B+ This accommodation sleeps 5 people, with 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds + a bunk bed.
