Guarded by the Tour de la Chaîne and Tour Saint-Nicolas, the Old Port has inspired many artists. After a stroll along the quayside, visitors are invited to wander through the pretty alleyways of the old town. Renaissance patrician houses and old half-timbered houses follow one another. The many small boutiques in the pedestrian zones and the arcade-lined streets have everything to satisfy the shopping enthusiast.
