There's plenty of room here: large pitches, shady or sunny, vast green spaces for playing or dreaming, a river for fishing or wading, a park planted with trees, vegetable patches and flowers. Our chalets and cabins can be adapted to suit all tastes: overnight stays, families or groups.
Our campsite is just outside Le Puy-en-Velay, in a peaceful, unspoilt natural setting. Ideally placed for discovering the Haute-Loire: the best-kept secret of the Auvergne.Services, leisure activities and entertainmentThroughout the season, we offer: bar and ice creams, bread deposit, breakfast (on reservation), free wifi at reception, mailbox, basic grocery store with organic and/or local products, tourist information + hiking guide.
The restaurant is open evenings in June, July and August. We prepare simple dishes based on local produce.
Activities take place in July and August: 5 activities for children (6 to 12 years) per week (free) + family activities: introduction to trail running, local market, yoga classes, introduction to meditation, pétanque tournament, concerts and local meals.
When there are sporting events, we broadcast them on a giant screen.
Leisure facilities include tennis, basketball, jumping boxes, a playground, table tennis, a pétnque pitch and a fitness area. We lend out balls and rackets.
And if you feel like it, we'll give you scales to go crayfish fishing.Description of the regionA unique vacation destination: the exceptional site of Le Puy en Velay (major departure point for Santiago de Compostela), a mosaic of landscapes with the vast expanses of the volcanic plateaux of Velay, the young Loire from its source to the Mont Gerbier de Jonc and the Allier, which imposes a relief full of character. What's more, the south of the Auvergne region is home to many picturesque villages and chlorophyll-filled areas ideal for nature-based activities (hiking in all its forms), as well as numerous rivers and streams...for the delight of fishing and white-water sports enthusiasts.In a quiet area open to nature: the 10m2 green cabin offers 1 small covered terrace (1 table and 2 chairs).
A room with 2 bunk beds and 2 trundle beds (blankets and pillows supplied) and a kitchenette with hotplates, crockery, microwave and toaster. No sanitary facilities, but a water point is close by. Next to the green cabanon, 1 wooden picnic table allows you to eat outside. You can use the campsite's communal sanitary facilities.
