La station de montagne de l'Alpe d'Huez, située dans la région Rhône Alpes en Isère, est connue pour son ensoleillement. Exposée plein sud, elle est perchée sur le plateau bien nommé de l'Ile au Soleil. Confortablement installée sur le Massif de la Grande Rousse à 1860 m et culminant 3330 m, elle offre à ses visiteurs un panorama magnifique sur le Mont Blanc, la chaîne de Belledonne, le Parc National des Ecrins ou encore le Rateau. Les vacances d'hiver à l'Alpe d'Huez

Grâce à ses 300 jours de soleil par an, l'Alpe d'Huez garantit des conditions climatiques exceptionnelles aux vacanciers, même durant l'hiver. Cette superbe station climatique ouvre ses portes du 6 décembre 2012 au 27 avril 2013 pour le plus grand bonheur des adeptes de la glisse.

Le domaine associé à l'Alpe d'Huez comprend en réalité 4 stations et 2 villages traditionnels  de montagne : Villars-Reculas, Vaujany, Auris-en-Oisans, Oz-en-Oisans, Le Freny-d'Oisans et la Garde. Le domaine skiable se compose de 250 km de pistes de ski, soit 133 pistes balisées : 43 pistes vertes, 34 pistes bleues, 40 pistes rouges et 16 pistes noires. Elle est équipée de 81 remontées mécaniques, 9 télécabines, 23 télésièges, et 40 téléskis.

Une station exceptionnelle

L'Alpe d'Huez, c'est aussi des espaces ludiques : deux snowparks, un boardercross, 50 km de pistes de ski de fond, une superbe grotte de glace à 2700 m d'altitude, une piste de luge nocturne, un espace de luge, des espaces protégés et sécurisés dédiés aux débutants et bien d'autres.

Le domaine skiable de l'Alpe d'Huez est tout simplement unique au monde : il offre en effet quatre descentes exceptionnelles sur plus de 2000 m de dénivelé !

La bonne nouvelle pour les débutants : c'est gratuit ! Et oui à l'Alpe d'Huez on apprend à skier gratuitement grâce à des remontées mécaniques et espaces dédiés aux apprentis skieurs qui pourront ensuite progresser sur d'autres pistes.
